On Tuesday we started learning about germination. To help us learn germination we planted small mung beans. First we were given three paper towels, and three mung beans. Then slightly wet the paper towels. Then we squeezed the water out of them.After that we put them in plastic cups. We dropped the mung beans in and then left them near the window for sunlight and to drink the water from the paper towels.
We are monitoring them each day in class and watering them every day so they can grow.

ReplyDeleteThat's a very interesting science experiment to carry out. This reminded us of the Little Gardens you could collect at New World! Have you named each one so you know who they belong to? We would love to see more photos as they start to grow.
